It would be easy–comforting even–to blame Lindsey Stone for her bad behavior in this photo. Add to it that her supervisor snapped it on a business trip(!) and it’s worse. But this is America in 2012. Things that have traditionally and rightfully been revered and respected are fair game to the worst sort of indiscretions. Don’t expect it to get better any time soon…or ever.
